Schools

Weybridge in Bloom encourages students to join us on our well-established Duke of Edinburgh Award litter picking scheme to help keep our environment litter free.

Please see the DofE section for full details.

There may also be some opportunities to help water our planters and newly established planting schemes between April and October.

Community bulb planting days in the Autumn

Our sessions are for everyone and we are always delighted to welcome the youngest members of our community. They love to see the results of their work the following Spring!

We announce the sessions on social media and notify nearby schools.

  • The group meets on Tuesday mornings at 10.30.

  • There are opportunities for smaller group work later in the week and for people to work on their own.

  • Gardening skills are much appreciated, but on the job training is provided for those keen to learn.

  • No tools: don’t worry, we have plenty.

If there is a neglected corner or scruffy patch of land near where you live that could with some love, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
